Schools
AltSchool is a network of small, independent Pre-K - 8th grade schools. Each school fosters personalized learning in small environments while benefiting from the larger AltSchool community of students, parents, and educators across the country.
The respective local neighborhoods are an extension of the classroom. New York City is rich with history and diversity, and offers students opportunities to meet local experts and experience community sites, whether that means exploring the Water Lab in Brooklyn Bridge Park, learning about local history through the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, or visiting the National Museum of Mathematics.
