Congratulations to the AltSchool Class of 2017!

This week, we had the pleasure of celebrating AltSchool's biggest graduating class to date. In an intimate commencement ceremony, we said goodbye to our 2017 Fort Mason and SoMa graduates as they reflected on their time at AltSchool. They were offered some sage advice from our educators and staff, along with wishes for success in high school. It was an opportunity to celebrate our students' hard work and dedication—many of whom we watched grow from sixth graders to Middle School graduates—to achieve this milestone and prepare for high school.

We're so proud of our 2017 graduates!

Our founder, Max Ventilla, offered words of wisdom about defining success on your own terms, overcoming challenges, and growing as a person and as a scholar.

A Fort Mason graduate gave an eloquent and moving speech about her time at AltSchool and how it inspired her goal to become a social justice lawyer.

Our SoMa educators helped hand out diplomas to the proud graduates.

Congratulations to the AltSchool Class of 2017!

And without further ado, we wanted to share the broad range of schools where our students were accepted for 2017-18. We can’t wait to see what they continue to achieve.
